Starbucks celebrates it's 40th anniversary by
unveiling a new logo. My first reaction to it was that it lost some dynamism (is that even a word?) with the new logo. The stricking contrast of the green and black was quite nice and although I understand the reasons behind dropping the typographic part of the logo I'm still a little underwhelmed by the change. I'm sure in time it will become one with the universe and no one will think twice about it but I'm still a little sad...
